on 2008-06-07 03:09:51
Calling all State Radio concert-goers!
We just created a new gallery full of old ticket stubs! You can view the gallery by going clicking here.
We want to make the gallery complete, so we need your cooperation. Scan or take a picture of old ticket stubs you have and email them to red@ccbsayit.com if you want them to go up in the gallery.
For those of you who are going to some of the summer festivals, don't forget to take pictures of the band! Send any and all pictures and tickets (State Radio related of course) to red@ccbsayit.com.
As always, thanks for submitting all your media!
Logo Contest [update]
on 2008-04-01 18:25:30
All right readers of ccbSayIt.com, we have some disappointing news. Due to the lack of entries for our (not so) incredible artwork contest we are, unfortunately, going to have to postpone the contest. Entries will still be accepted but, for now, no one has won (and there is no set date on when these entries will be posted).
So basically here's the deal. You can still submit your INCREDIBLY AWESOME ARTWORK by sending an email to info@ccbsayit.com (make sure you follow the guidelines posted below). If we receive a significant amount of entries, we will then decide the top three and post them on the homepage as originally planned.
Thanks to those of you who did submit your design, we still have them so there is no need to re-submit anything.
ccbSayIt's INCREDIBLY AWESOME ARTWORK design contest!
on 2008-02-19 15:56:47
Calling all artists (and people who have nothing better to do!) ccbSayIt is looking for a new shirt design! We want you to make some INCREDIBLY AWESOME ARTWORK. So with that, were kicking off the INCREDIBLY AWESOME ARTWORK design contest! Heres the deal. You make a ccbSayIt logo, well put it on our merch. Interested? Here are the technical requirements:
All entries must be:
1. 300dpi (dots per inch). To change the resolution in Adobe Photoshop, go to File > New and type in 300 next to Resolution. Be sure that you have the pixels/inch selected rather than pixels/cm.
2. CMYK color. Below where you typed in the resolution, there is an option called Color Mode. Typically, it will say RGB Color next to that option. Click on the drop down menu, and select CMYK Color.
3. 7in x 7in. Type 7 in both Height and Width options. Make sure the unit is inches, rather than pixels or anything else. The logo doesnt have to fill up the entire space, but a 7 inch canvas is a good size.
4. In PNG format (in addition to .psd format). Save your creation as a png by going to File > Save As> then type in the title of your logo, and in the drop down menu, select "PNG"
Email all designs (YES, you can submit more than one design) to info@ccbsayit.com with INCREDIBLY AWESOME ARTWORK in the subject. Attach the designs in the email as jpgs or, you can upload them to a hosting site (i.e. www.imageshack.us) and send us the link.
All entries are due on March 31st, 2008. Once we receive all entries, Shannon and Red will pick the three best logos and post them on the ccbSayIt homepage. Then, everyone will have an opportunity to vote on their favorite logo.
Good luck to everyone and although the winner does not physically get a million bucks, theyll sure feel like it.
State Radio in Europe Video Interview
on 2007-10-16 16:23:33
Our good friends at PatchMusic.info have compiled a fantastic video of their interview of State Radio this September. They opened up their message board to fan questions, which were answered by the band in the interview.
Quote from PatchMusic:
"On the 28th of September in 2007 we (Sascha Knapek and me, Christian Scholz) met Chuck, Chad and Mike in Cologne and asked them every question you gave us in the Redlettertribe- and patchmusic-forum. With this video footage, the following movie originated we hope youll like it!"
At almost an hour in length, the video covers such questions as the revival of songs, new covers, where the band is going, their intentions, and everything in between. There are also videos of State Radio performing at various venues and, of course, tons of great State Radio music. Awesome job, PatchMusic!

WHOA! Welcome to ccbSayIt 3000!
on 2007-09-25 20:00:00
Hey everyone... BIG news!
We've all been putting in long hours and putting our blood, sweat, and tears into insanely mundane and impossible tasks, but it's finally here! After almost 3 years of ccbSayIt, we've done the impossible -- we've made ccbSayIt even BETTER. ccbSayIt 2.0 was great, but we've added some new features and improved on some old ones to make ccbSayIt one of the most comprehensive fansites in existence. Let's do a basic rundown of the new features:
*Completely new design and interface. We've given the site's design a fresh and more sophisticated look, representing both our growth and maturity as a fansite and State Radio's growth as a band. It's much cleaner and much easier to navigate. We've also stretched the page to fullscreen so that there's plenty of room for all of our new content.
*Quick-look Sidebar. We designed this aspect of the new site to make it much easier to see the latest and greatest updates on ccbSayIt at a glance. Latest show downloads, latest photo sets, and latest downloads will keep you on top of everything new here. We are also going to be doing weekly polls, so check back every week for a new poll!
*Completely redesigned Discography page. The new discography page has larger album art icons and all tracks on one page. No more clicking through albums to get to a lyric fast! We have also adapted the Sidebar for discography to show other songs in an album for quick switching from lyric to lyric, along with a section for other albums to switch to a new album in a flash. We have also received permission from State Radio to stream all of their studio albums!. That's right, you can listen to State Radio CDs anywhere, anytime. This means that we now have every available recording of State Radio in existence to stream from our website. Enjoy!
*Refined Setlists Engine. We've refreshed our setlists system with a new setlists engine that fixes the problems plaguing the old system. No more empty, cut off, or lost setlists! Song frequencies have also finally been fixed. We have also made our Venue stats more comprehensive and added a new section for Other Band stats. You can now see statistics for all of the bands State Radio has toured with, the shows they've played, and whether they were opening/headlining/coheadlining. Go check it out!
*Refreshed wallpapers. We have removed the confusing screen resolution-based system and now have only one resolution for standard aspect ratio screens. We have also added a widescreen version of ALL of our wallpapers (laptop users rejoice!).
*Refined Media page. The pop-up player now links to the studio albums, and we still have our extensive photo library. We have also added videos for your viewing pleasure! Both the Downloads and Media pages have a refreshed and cleaner interface.
*Store. We are, as of today, selling official ccbSayIt merchandise. Grab a shirt and a sticker and show your ccbSayIt pride!
We hope you guys like our new website. A lot of hard time and energy was put into making the amazing site that lays before you. We'd like to thank the following people for their outrageous generosity and help:
Kevin Dean: Chief Programmer for the web design company Bionic Hippo. Kevin coded everything that you see, from the new discography page to the contact information page. Kevin put in a LOT of time and effort, and he deserves a ton of thanks.
Shannon Dunlevy: Shannon, one of the original two members of the ccbSayIt team, moved all of the setlists from the old system to the new. She also helped in the design critique process and wrote out almost all of the lyrics that you rely on on a daily basis.
Wells Riley: Wells designed the new interface and helped Kevin with usability and interface in the new site. Wells is the other of the two original ccbSayIt admins, as well as the chief Graphic Designer of Bionic Hippo.
Michael Lantow (Red): Red, the newest member of the ccbSayIt team, helped in interface critique, brand new 'best versions' in song stats, and general consultation. Red offered a fresh perspective and some great creative ideas. Also, thank Red for the full studio album streams!
Ricardo Klement: Ricardo is the administrator of our German sister site PatchMusic.info. Ricardo provided all of our backend administration technology, as well as the framework for the new setlists engine. Thank you for your generosity, Ric!
Again, we hope you like the new site! We'd love your feedback, and please do not hesitate to email us at info@ccbsayit.com. Also, if you notice any bugs, please email us and let us know.
Enjoy!
